• There are about 200 and odd Telugu families in Cochin and its proximity areas.
• Most of them are professionals working for various central organizations, then private sector and Kerala Cadre of the central services.
• The Association is professionally managed over the last five decades.
• Out of the 200 Life Members and 20 Patrons, nearly 100 of them have moved out on transfer or superannuation.
• The Telugu Library of the Association is presently holding 2500 Books as on date
• As on date the premises are made available as community hall and function venue for the public, Program venue to other cultural organizations and the Transit Facility to Sabarimali Pilgrims in the festive season, with its full amenities.
• Presently Dance; Music classes are being conducted on regular basis.
• The Auditorium which is being equipped progressively and being offered the local community, as our gratitude towards their support over the decades.
• We have plans to organize the “Spiritual Discourses” with the participation of philanthropic agencies on weekly basis, with sponsorship of business houses, meeting the essential expenditure of maintenance.
• As the part of Golden Jubilee celebrations we intend to fully air condition this and transform the Andhra Kala Nilayam as the Hub of Multi ethnic culture Centre, and facilitate other Associations to enhance their activities as well. This in turn, leads to the Association property as the Performing Asset in the near future.
